CHLOE GRACE...

Is a very healthy baby! I had another ultrasound on February 7th and she is doing great. She measured out at almost 12 inches from head to toe. She weighs over a pound. The ultrasound tech measured her foot and holy cow is it huge! It's almost an inch and a half. She is going to be one tall baby. The doctors and I thought I was further along in my pregnancy by a week or two, but nope. She is just going to be a tall baby. Hopefully not a huge baby. Like the 13 pound baby born in Massachusetts last week (God bless that poor woman's vagina...she did it all natural). My due date did change by a day so now instead of June 21st it's June 20th. I like June 21st better because it's the first day of summer. So I'm sticking with that due date :). During my ultrasound I received 19 pictures and a disk with 20 more pictures and 5 videos of the ultrasound. I have one more ultrasound when I am in my third trimester and that will be scheduled when I'm 26 weeks along. Then of course I'll have the ultrasound right before she is due to arrive to make sure everything is looking good with her and to get her exact weight and all that.
I have my monthly check up on the 15th of this month. When I went to my new doctor she did a thyroid test and that was an abnormal test. So I have to go for blood work again in a couple more weeks to see if anything changed.

She is looking right at you!

Yep, she is a girl!

HALF WAY THERE...

Chloe Grace is half way cooked!
140 days to go

I am so excited to be halfway through my pregnancy! Time has been going by kind of slow, so I'm hoping it will pick up some speed now. It is still hard to belive 126 days have passed. I can't wait until my little girl is here. June 21st can't come fast enough. I hope she comes on my due date, but I know there is a very slim chance of that happening. It's the first day of summer and I would love for her to be my little summer baby. I would hate to go over 40 weeks. I already know I will be dreading the heat in June & July. I get so hot now and it's below zero outside. I'm also going to be the size of a house by then. People think I look like I'm 30 something weeks, not 20!

I just wanted to post a quick update. It's only 7:30 and I am SOOOO ready for bed!
Night bloggers.

IT'S A.....

BABY GIRL!

Chloe Grace is her name. I am so excited that I am having a little baby girl. I found out about 2 weeks early what I was having because I was hospitalized last Thursday for almost a whole week.
I was having really bad stomach pains under my right rib late Tuesday night. I figured it had something to do with the pregnancy, so I just blew it off and didn't think anything was wrong. Wednesday I had my monthly OB appointment and I let my OB know I was having some pain under my right rib and in my back on the right side. She thought it had something to do with my sleeping position. So once again, we didn't think anything bad was going on in my stomach. Well, on Thursday I was doubled over in pain and I couldn't even hold down a sip of water! Off to the ER it was....in a HUGE snow storm if I may add.
I get to the ER and I'm of course the only one there, so I was seen right away by a nurse and a Dr. I explained what was going on and how I was pregnant, so blood was drawn and I had to also give a urine sample. All my blood tests came back perfectly fine besides my white blood count test. That was a little high. When your pregnant your white blood count is higher then a non pregnant person to begin with, but mine was even higher. So the Dr's knew something was wrong. The Dr thought it might have something to do with my kidney or gallbladder. So I had an ultrasound done to see if anything abnormal was going on. Nothing! Completely normal. The Dr then thought it might have something to do with my appendix. But considering I'm pregnant they x ray tech wouldn't do an x ray on me. So I was sent home with some pain pills for the pain. Big damn whoop! They did nothing for me and I was STILL in severe pain and STILL throwing up anything and everything. I was very dehydrated and by this point I had nothing to eat or drink at all since Wednesday morning. My discharge papers said to come back the next morning if I was still in pain and couldn't hold anything down...so, I went back to the ER. I was immediatly given an IV because I was so pale and very dehydrated. I was finally admitted to the maternity unit to be watched and rehydrated. More tests were done and nothing was found, again. By this point the Dr's were worried and confused on what was going on. Sunday I was discharged and I was told to drink alot of water and  get tons of rest. The pain still wasnt gone and I was no better then day one. I had a follow up appointment on Monday with my OB. I walked into her office and immediatly she sent me back to the hospital because I was on the virge of passing out. Same things went on, tests, everything looked good, throwing up and not holding down anything. No one had a clue what was wrong with me. By this point, the pain had left my right side and travled to my left side under my rib.
My OB wanted me to have an ultrasound to make sure everything with the baby was fine, and I found out I was having a little girl & she was perfectly alright! I was discharged on Wednesday because the Drs couldn't find out what the problem was. Finally last night I felt like I could eat for the first time in almost a week. So I had some tuna and crackers. I finally held it down! No more pain, no more anything! I am so happy I am pain free and I can eat normal food now. Water never tasted so good to me! LOL.
This was the weirdest thing that has ever happend to me. The stomach flu was ruled out, kindney infection, gallbladder and appendix was ruled out also. The Dr's thought it had something to do with being very ocnstipated, but I kept going to the bathroom, so it had nothing to do with that.
All I know is, I am very happy that nothing is wrong with Chloe and this pain is finally gone. I am so happy to be moving on with a normal pregnancy now. In 4 months (and some change) I'll be meeting my daughter and seeing her beautiful face!

32 MORE DAYS....

UNTIL I FIND OUT THE SEX OF MY LITTLE ONE!

16 weeks & 2 days (4 1/2 months) // Day 100 // 166 days to go!

yep, that's my huge belly at 16 weeks exact

I am so excited! February 7th can't come fast enough. I am counting down the days. I just hope my little one cooperates when I have my ultrasound! I will be so upset if he/she doesn't spread eagle! I also can't wait to go shopping for clothes that are other colors but neutral. And to update my baby registry so I can add boy things or girl things.
I've been feeling little kicks here and there and the baby moving around sometimes. I know I wont feel full on movements and kicks (really strong ones) for another few days up to a couple more weeks, but I'm patient.
So I did some of those old wives tales & gender predictors and every single one that I have done is saying I'm having a little  boy. Some old wives tales I've been reading up on are: If you're really cold during your pregnancy it is a boy. Well, i feel like an ice box, even with a space heater in my room on full blast! I am also carrying low, and was told (and read about it) that I am having a boy. I'm also craving a lot of salty, sour foods, which means that once again, predicted a boy. Andrew (baby's father) hasn't been gaining any weight at all through out these 16 + weeks, so yet again, boy. I also did the Chinese gender chart, yep, you guessed it...BOY! So all the old wives tales are pointing to me having a boy! But, not so many people think I am. I have been told only by 5 people (yes I'm keeping track!) that I'm having a boy. Everyone else thinks I am having a girl. So we shall see!
Oh, I have some good news! Morning sickness is officially OVER! Thank God. I am so happy that I am not sick after I eat anymore. I use to always get sick when I went to the bathroom also, which I have no clue why (something about toilets I think). And every single time I brushed my teeth I would get so sick. But not anymore! I just hope I didn't just jinx myself and the morning sickness stays away.
My cravings are also starting to kick in BIG TIME now. Before (I would say) around week 14-15 I had mild cravings, but now, you don't even know how bad they are. Pizza, blueberry bagels with bacon (extra bacon) & cheese (from Dunkin Donuts), egg rolls, anything Mexican, spicy chicken sandwiches, bin bin rice crackers, bacon turkey bravo (from Panera Bread!) and sushi (but I've only eaten California rolls!). I usually wont eat anything else. I've also been wanting alot of orange mango juice and water. Yep, I know, I've been craving alot of weird things. Thank God I don't like pickles, because those are one thing I HAVEN'T been wanting.

Well, I am hungry once again and I kind of want a grilled cheese sandwich. So I will be posting again soon. Good bye for now!
